AIR SUSPENSION
The purpose of air suspension is toprovide a smooth, constant ride quality, but in some cases is used for sports suspension. Modern electronically controlled systems in automobiles and light trucks almost always feature self-leveling along with raising and lowering functions.

AIR COMPRESSOR
An air compressor is used topressurize the air in your tires. It also helps to inflate them if they need to be filled up again and provides air for the AC unit if you have one. It's important for keeping your car running smoothly and safely!

AIR SPRING
The air springs weredesigned to provide a smooth ride, with the additional ability to raise the body of the vehicle for off-road clearance and lower it for higher-speeds road driving. Mechanical springs, for which deflection is proportional to load, cannot do this; with ECAS height is largely independent of load.

VALVE BLOCK
The valve blocktakes care of the distribution of pressurized air. A valve block for a 4-corner air suspension system with pressure reservoir contains a total of 6 air connections: one for the air compressor, four for the air springs/struts and one for the pressure reservoir.
